The NAS Medical Mission (NMM) was established to focus on three cardinal areas, namely medical intervention, health advocacy, social mobilization, and community engagement. Through free medical missions, the NMM carries out quarterly medical interventions to meet the needs of many citizens struggling with a regressing economy and increasingly unable to meet the cost of medical services. Since November 2010, the NMM has been a major feature in the Association’s calendar, leveraging its broad human resources to carry out community-based free medical missions to help communities and individuals, as the Association’s humble but effective intervention to meet the medical needs of a significant population of disadvantaged communities.
