Bart Akelemor is a Mental Health Practitioner working with the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Bart is a First Class graduate of the University of Hertfordshire UK, Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and member of the Royal College of Nursing. Bart has almost 10 years working experience with the UK National Health Service (NHS) since 2009 and currently practising as a Community Psychiatric Nurse and Care Coordinator. Bart has vast experience within the NHS having worked in various capacity, including practising in forensic mental health service.

Bart also hold a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Political Science from the Edo State University, Ekpoma, Nigeria and has worked in both the public and private sector in Nigeria and the UK. He has held managerial positions and has driven organisational change, business development and policy implementation.

Bart has attended numerous continuous professional development courses, training and have attended several local and international conferences. Bart is an astute leader, effective manager of resources and teams and critical thinker.

Bart is a family man. He has keen interest in research, public health, capacity building, strategic planning and service improvement.
